The game continues the tradition of inviting a guest illustrator to design new cards in a unique style for added variety of game play. The box includes 84 original cards drawn by board-game artist Pierre Lechevalier (a.k.a. Pierô) with coloring by Marie Cardouat, the designer of the original Dixit cards. Cards include more images with absurd and dreamlike scenes similar to other Dixit decks with imagery that stretches the imagination with new levels of whimsy and absurdity (e.g. a prince being offered a black cat, a deck of cards, a birthday cake, and the planet Earth on silver platters). This expansion to Dixit can also serve as a stand-alone; it includes a gameboard and accommodates more players (up to 12), making it a good party game.
