Luthers Episteln-Auslegung: ein Commentar zur Apostelgeschichte, den Apostelischen Briefen und der Offenbarung
Stuttgart: Evangelischen Bucherstiftung, 1866. Half-Leather. Fair. Item #072228
Language: German (blackletter). Clean pages except for a prior owner's label on the front free endpaper, some deep margin trimming (without text loss) in the preliminaries, and occasional spots as well as some reciprocal toning adjacent to heavy ink throughout. The calfskin corners have worn almost entirely away, leaving board exposed at the corners and possibly allowing in the humidity that has put a slight concavity to front and rear, but the textured paper underneath was laid generously, providing some protection up to the edges; the joints are starting, the leather having been left quite dry, and a pull has been glued shut at the spine head, barely visibly because of the surface wear and cracking, with nearly all gilt lost; nonetheless some decoration remains and the spine panel is all present. VIII, pp. From the keeper whose 95-toothed key loosed the Reformation, ; 8vo.
