Signed by the author at the front free endpaper with no date or inscription. Pages crisp and clean except for a small chip at the heel edge of the first five leaves and a dark smudge on the foreedge of the page block; binding square and tight, full cloth cover faded around the head edges and showing some softening and rubbing at spine ends, otherwise excellent. Jacket is priceclipped and bears some light surface rubbing and smudging on the front, spots of surface wear and specking on the rear, and some chipping at corners and spine ends, but remains overall bright and attractive, now protected in a clear sleeve. 375pp.; Signed by Author.
