Urbana, Illinois: The Finial Press / The Stone Wall Press, 1966. Cloth Hardcover. 4to. Good / No Dustjacket. Item #049937
Signed and inscribed by Paulene Aspel to a named individual on the half title page. The pages are clean, crisp, and bright except for a bit of toning and light foxing on the page block edges. The first signature is nearly loose, but the binding remains otherwise tight. The blue cloth of the hard cover is fading at the spine and near the top edge and shows some scattered dust spotting; otherwise, excellent. Number 48 in an edition of 220 copies printed by hand from Spectrum types on Curtis Rag paper. Laid in is a staple-bound pamphlet entitled "Textes pour FLES", a publication of the American Association of Teachers of French, including an essay by Paulene Aspel concerning the pedogogical role of poetry; also signed and inscribed by the author to a named individual on the first page.
