Crisp, clean pages except for a gift note penned on the reverse of the frontispiece, some foxing on the head edge of the page block, and some age-toning at the corners of the endpapers. Square, tight binding; full red cloth cover shows only light shelfwear at spine ends. Dust jacket is sunned along the spine and has thin lines of scuffing at the joints, a very short edge tear at the top right front, a priceclip at the front interior flap, and small spots of wear at corners, but is otherwise clean and well-kept, now protected in a clear sleeve. xx, 373pp. incl. index.; Photographs; 4to.
