Erenberg Tarot
Stamford, Connecticut: U. S. Games Systems, Inc., 2023. Tarot Deck. New. Item #00082252
ISBN: 1646711742
This deck includes the standard tarot cards in the Rider-Waite-Smith tradition but features ultra-closeup images that zero in on one particular element of a given scene (more so even than the Morgan-Greer deck) and leaves the rest to the imagination; e.g. 9 Pentacles is dominated by the the hawk perched on a falconer’s forearm, and the Hermit card only shows the hermit’s lamp with the bare hint of the hand holding it. Court cards all feature a closeup image of a particular character’s eyes along with a token in front of the character’s face, e.g. a rabbit in front of the Queen of Pentacles.
