Though to go by the copyright page, this is merely an early reprint of the 2008 Virago edition of "Home" by Marilynne Robinson, this copy has been hand-bound by Christine Cleaton for presentation to the author (as done by Cleaton for all Orange Prize shortlisted novels for many years). "Home" went on to win the prize and was also a finalist for the National Book Award. Half calf, balance in paper made by Maureen Richardson; details are in Cleaton's handwritten, laid-in letter. There are seven tiny faded spots at spine and left front, otherwise fine.
