The pages of this well-kept volume are crisp, bright, clean except for a prior owner's stamp on the ffep below the tipped-in plate bearing the author's signature and a typed dedication and date; the copy is dedicated to an eminent Iowa City historian. The binding is square and secure; the black cloth shows only the most minimal of shelving wear at corners and spine ends and is otherwise beautifully fresh. The jackets shows a little minimal rubbing at the corners and spine ends, some small areas of handling soil to the rear panel, and a small spot near the spine head, but is otherwise excellent, clean and intact, and quite presentable in its new, clear, archivally safe wrapper.; Signed by Author.
