This deck was designed on the understanding that tarot cards inhabit their own otherworldly space or “field.” A sense of dislocation is attained through a juxtaposition of stylized, 2D and monochrome sequential-art-style figures with more intricate pattern design, especially vintage floral designs on the figures’ clothing. The iconography is a blend of the Marseilles and RWS traditions with the artist’s own elaborations; Justice and Strength are in their Marseilles order. Deck comes with a 96-page guidebook.
