All images are bright and colorful. Some images are very simple and direct, like the Anchor. Some images seem simple but have details that suggest deeper meanings, like the Crossroads, which depicts a 4-way crossroad with roads leading up and down a gentle slope. In addition to the 36 traditional cards of the petit Lenormand, Edwards has illustrated an additional 16 original images to fill out a 52-card deck.
