Cincinnati: Stewart & Kidd Company, 1920. Second Impression. Cloth Hardcover. Good / No Dustjacket. Item #074006
Clean pages except for an ink stamp and a lengthy, beautifully penned inscription on the front free endpaper, as well as faint, pale water spots at the top margins of pp.51-89 and 237-253; signatures have, in a few cases, been cut a bit roughly, but within the margins. Full black cloth binding is sunned to a reddish brown at the spine and shows wear with a few loose threads at free corners and spots of dimming to the gilt titles, otherwise remarkably well-kept. No jacket. 334pp.; 10 photo illustrations with caption-printed tissue guards. Congenially written advice for beginning to experienced anglers. (Of historical interest, several brands of ties, reels, etc. are named in the final chapter, and pp.292-334 give product and brand names of camping gear.).
