Pages clean except for moderate foxing at hinges and around outside edges; no owners' marks; hard cover bears only some pale brown staining in the gutters, softening and rubbing at spine ends, and small inward turns at the bottom free corners. Dust jacket has a narrow, short open tear at the lower front foreedge, some open chipping at spine ends and corners, a priceclip at the front flap, a few small, inky blue stains at the lower rear, toning around edges and along spine, and shelfwear around top and bottom edges, yet remains overall sound and striking, now protected in a clear sleeve.
