All pages clean except for a prior seller's ink stamp on the front endpapers of Volumes I and II as well as pencil marks, a felt-tip mark, and an adhesive scar on the same page in Volume I. Blue textured paper over boards; hardcovers each show moderate shelfwear at corners and spine ends; several free corners have been gently bumped, some turned inward; there is a thin, shallow adhesive removal scar on the upper portion of the spine of Volume IV, not affecting the gold title. All volumes have gold titling at front and spine. Four unabridged volumes, all printed in 1959, sold as a set (not including Vol. V, The Outlands of Heaven, which is not referenced in this printing): 165, 175, 198, 155pp. respectively.
