Davenport, Iowa: WOC Tri-City Broadcasting Co. Loose Plates in Folder. Very Good. Item #069993
Undated; probably distributed near 1976? In a four-flap cardstock folder printed in red and blue (with the slogan "Freedom Is Everybody's Job") are an introductory letter signed by Bill Gress of WOC Radio and reproductions of forty documents pertaining to the history of European immigration to North America, selected from items that toured the country in 1947 on the "Freedom Train". The folder shows age-toning along the right and bottom edges, small tears at the upper corners and a long, closed tear at the bottom edge, as well as some short creases around the outside edges of the folder; the plates inside are remarkably clean and well-kept, with just a touch of toning around the page edges. Most, naturally, pertain to the second World War, but they include the Nineteenth Amendment to the US Constitution and part of the Mayflower Compact, etc.
