Original Orthoscope (3-D glasses) still present in the original pasted-in pouch on the front endpaper; the Orthoscope shows a little gentle scratching to the lenses, and the pouch has small tears extending from the open corners, otherwise excellent. Pages crisp and clean except for a gift note on the front free endpaper, two short, closed tears at the bottom edge of the half-title page, and some thumbnail creases and shallow wrinkles scattered throughout; sewn binding is secure, brown cloth hard cover showing small spots of fraying at bottom free corners and spine heel, some age-toning around the edges and along the spine, lighter rubbing at the spine head and upper corners, and a gray smudge at the top left front, otherwise well-kept, with four-color ink illustration on the front along with black inked titles. 39pp.; 8 two-tone "Orthovis pictures" and numerous b/w drawn illustrations with some musical scores of "real Indian melodies which have been given piano accompaniments that preserve the rhythm of the drums..."
