New York: Chilmark Press, 1964. Hard Cover. Very Good - / Good. Item #066594
Pages clean except for a long gift inscription opposite the title page, reciprocal pressed-flower residue on six pages, three very small, dark spots on the head edge of the page block, and some light toning and foxing at the endpapers. Binding square and secure; green hard cover shows a thin line of pale spots at the lower front, softening of the spine ends, shallow vertical creasing in the gutters, and modest rubbing at corners and spine ends. Dustjacket bears a short, open tear at the spine heel, two inky blue smudges at the upper rear, modest age-toning along the spine and some surface rubbing in spots along the spine sides as well as the front foreedge, and a few very small, closed tears with creases between along head and heel edges, with spots of surface wear and edge chipping at the corners and spine ends, otherwise attractive, unclipped, now protected in a clear sleeve. This is the author's first book of poetry. 53pp.
