The story of Zion Lutheran Church, Denison, Iowa; the first Lutheran service in the town took place in January 1868, and the congregation of Zion formally organized on September 25, 1872. Crisp, clean pages except for light wrinkling at the top right corners of the first two pages; no owners' marks; the stapled binding is clean and internally secure, though the cover is starting to separate; the cover bears fingerprints and spots on the back, thin, vertical lines of surface rubbing at the left and right rear, shallow creases along the spine, a tiny fold at the top right front corner, and some light wear around the edges, but remains overall sound and attractive. 64pp.
