Birth Control or the Limitation of Offspring by the Prevention of Conception
New York City: The Critic and Guide Co., 1917. Thirteenth Edition. Hardcover. Very Good with no dust jacket / No Dustjacket. Item #058797
Prior owners' ink stamps at the front endpapers and some finger marks on the page block edges, otherwise crisp and clean; binding is gently relaxed, but square and secure; hard cover has some softening and rubbing at the spine ends and corners, a few small, dark spots on the back and a scattering of tiny, dull but not discolored, drip spots on the front, and two tiny scuffs at the left rear, otherwise excellent. 249pp. + catalog of author's other works. The author is concerned about hygiene, the protection of families, the prevention of overpopulation; and he makes a case (this not unreasonable) that properly used birth control would increase the stability and success of our society.
