The pages of this copy are bright and clean, with no ownership marks; the binding is square and tight. The soft cover of the main volume shows a vertical crease at the left front and another at the right rear, a pair of small corner creases at the lower right front and again at the rear, a chip in the lower left rear edge, surface scuffs on and near the spine, creasing at the spine, and a line of fading around the outside edges of the front, yet remains overall clean and sound. March 1956. The second volume, titled "Student Handout : Errata Sheets to Nonstandard Military Fixed Bridges," is dated January 1961; the pages are crisp, bright, and clean, the stapled binding secure, and the soft cover quite clean and showing only gentle rubbing at the corners and spine ends and one small chip at the lower rear edge. 245pp. + 118pp.
