The Regent Press, 1893. Hard Cover. Very Good / Good. Item #029628
The pages of this copy are crisp, only very faintly age-toned, and quite clean, with no ownership marks, except for a small thumbprint at the head edge of the page block; the binding is gently relaxed, but square and secure. The gray cloth cover, titled in black and decorated in orange, shows only the very faintest hint of shelving rub at the lower corners and spine ends and is otherwise clean and lovely. The jacket shows some chipping with a little loss of material over the spine head, at the corners, and in one place at the upper rear, one short, slightly open tear at the upper front and another at the lower rear, some age-toning around the edges, a short orange streak and one small spot at the spine, a few small spots at the left and lower front, and some rubbing at edges and shoulders, but is overall remarkably well-preserved and attractive, now protected in a clear, archivally safe sleeve.
